In this new section of F-TREND, from
time to time we will feature letters and other documents related to assessment
that are disseminated and distributed by school personnel, district officials,
and Department of Education bureaucrats. Send items to Gloria Pipkin at gpipkin@knology.net.
Anonymity guaranteed. An assistant principal who serves as the testing coordinator at an elementary school in our state recently distributed this letter. Not one word has been changed, although we did add information [in brackets] about some of the abbreviations and acronyms.
